Borne from a unique mix of European elegance, comfort and the raw richness of LA, Libertas launched its first women’s collection in the spring of 2005. Having recognized the gap in the market for beautifully inspired, comfortable shoes, the Libertas line evokes the company’s mantra “it shouldn’t hurt to be sexy.”

Libertas’ designer, Savannah Auger, has an insatiable love affair with shoes. If she is not off touring with her band "oblivion express" then she is back in LA designing shoes. Born in London (Brit musician father and Italian Designer mother) and having grown up living amidst the design centers of Italy, England and California, her line represents
the unique marriage of European flair with LA rock and roll edginess. In Libertas, Savannah has merged the highest-quality original design and artisanal construction using a mix of the finest
Italian leathers and superior hardware, achieving a look that is adventurous, confident, feminine and refined
